Eric G. Benson handles civil and criminal litigation in courts throughout the country. A former federal prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice, Mr. Benson has substantial experience advocating for victims of crimes. Mr. Benson now devotes a large part of his practice to representing victims of wildfires and ensuring their rights are protected as they face massive corporate wrongdoers. He has assisted victims of various wildfires including the North Bay Fires, the Camp Fire, the Bobcat Fire, and the Zogg Fire. He has been recognized by his peers in the legal industry multiple times as a Super Lawyer, and has also served as an adjunct professor of law at the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of Law, and at Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School.
